Terminal 6 Construction

We are excited to be working with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to build and manage a state-of-the-art new international terminal that will anchor the north side of JFK International Airport and help transform it into a modern, 21st–century airport.

Our Design-Build Partner

JMP has selected AECOM Hunt as its design-build partner for delivery of the new Terminal 6. Construction will take place in two phases, with the first five gates opening by the first quarter of 2026 and Terminal 6 completion expected in 2028.

Our Commitment to Supplier Diversity

JMP is committed to meeting or exceeding New York State’s goal of 30% participation from minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs), including 20% for minority-owned business enterprises (MBEs) and 10% for women-owned business enterprises (WBEs).

Competitive bids from local businesses in Queens and surrounding areas will be prioritized.
