It’s been one year since the start of the $4.2 billion development of JFK Terminal 6.

The massive project is a part of The Port Authority’s whopping $19 billion JFK Vision Plan to reimagine JFK International Airport.

A major transformation is underway at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

The airport, which is among the busiest in the world, is getting two brand-new terminals, as well as an overhaul of several other existing terminals.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) has released an animated rendering of Terminal 6 from terminal frontage to gate, ahead of the opening of the US$4.2bn building in 2026.

The redevelopment is part of an ongoing effort at JFK priced at $11.4 billion.

Kennedy International Airport’s (New York JFK) Terminal 6, has formally marked 1 year since breaking ground on the $4.2bn terminal with a sneak peek of the facility through a new animated rendering from terminal frontage to gate.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey provided an update on the $4.2 billion redevelopment of Terminal 6 at New York’s JFK Airport, saying that the first gates are on track to open in 2026. Construction began a year ago.
